Steel City Rowing Club is excited to host the Dam-to-Dam event once again this year! This always-anticipated event is a chance to celebrate Pittsburgh's vast rowing community, and it’s also a fun way to raise some money for the Steel City Rowing Club’s boathouse, a public resource we are proud to upkeep.
This is NOT a race - but we won't stop you from rowing your heart out. The course remains the same, highlighting a beautiful 24km (~15 miles) section of the Allegheny River in Verona. For the full Dam-to-Dam course, we’ll row to the Highland Park Lock and then turn back to row all the way to the Cheswick Lock.
If it’s the brunch and not the miles you’re here for, try the abridged “Dam-to-Donuts” course instead! Once rowers start heading upriver towards Cheswick Lock, there will be a chance to return to the dock, completing a ~12k distance. Relay rowers can also swap out at this point.
Space is limited so sign up soon!
*Rowers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
