Nike Crew Camp: Canadian Henley Camp

Ages: High School to U23

July 17th - August 13th

Open Rower and Elite Club Nationals Camp

Open/Elite Rowers (Ages 18-29) 

Camp: June 5 - July 11      US Rowing Club Nationals: July 12- 16

Steel City Rowing’s Competitive Camps are designed for rowers focused on achieving a high level of success at USRowing's Club Nationals and The Royal Canadian Henley. The practices are rigorous and led by top level coaches. During training, rowers will have the opportunity to refine their technique both in sculling and sweep boats, while building strength and endurance.  Athletes will be trained with on-the-water skill development and plenty of video feedback. Junior Rowing Camps

Ages: 12-18

Rowing for Fitness 9:30am-Noon
Weekly from June 12th - August 4th

This camp is designed for an athlete with at least 1 season of on-the-water experience. Rowers will improve their fitness and technique during this relaxed camp.

Learn to Row 9:30am-3:30pm
Multiple Weeks Offered

The Camps will introduce campers to the FUN-damentals of rowing and water safety by one of our USRowing certified coaches. Campers will progress from sweep rowing (one oar per person in 8 or 4 person boats) to sculling  (2 oars per person, in 4, 2 and 1 person boats) and have a lot of fun along the way.

The antithesis to the busy school year, this camp is a meandering adventure exploring the Allegheny River, its tributaries, and Sycamore Island.

River Fun Camp

 Ages 8-11, going into 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade

Multiple weeks offered

Campers will explore the Allegheny River in kayaks and canoes while learning about the wildlife and ecosystems. Plenty of time for swimming and paddle boarding, too. An excursion to Sycamore Island is a camp highlight. Click here for more information.
