Lucy Tuttle-Smith

Lucy graduated with a degree in Design from Carnegie Mellon. During her collegiate years she frequently kayaked the white waters of Western PA and Canada.  Upon graduating she worked for McCann Erickson in New York City before going out on her own as a consultant designer for non-profits. She eventually ended up back in Pittsburgh with her husband where she continued her consulting work. With her history of kayaking, it was of little surprise when Lucy jumped on the opportunity for her and her two children to row. When the need arose for more hands on the water she took up coaching and went on to receive her Level III USRowing Certification. When she isn't coaching, she works in the office creating publication graphics for the many programs and camps offered and fundraising projects. She also helps with maintenance of the grounds of the club, utilizing native plants in keeping with our green facility.
