The Henley Camp
For High School and Open Rowers
July 17 - August 14th
$3,250 Residential Campers
$2,000 Day Campers
Steel City Rowing’s Henley camp is focused on achieving a high level of success at The Royal Canadian Henley. The practices are rigorous. During training, rowers will have the opportunity to refine their technique both in sculling and sweep boats, while building strength and endurance in preparation for the race.
Athletes will be trained on water skill development with plenty of video feedback. There will also be land training sessions. These land sessions will include strength training, erg skill/speed development, as well as featuring information on the nutritional and psychological needs required by athletes to perform well in training.
We require at least 1 year of rowing experience, and that all participants adhere to the tenets of the Steel City Rowing Contract.
Zach Petronic is a two-time national team member. He competed in the 2013 and 2015 World University Games in the men's eight and the single respectively, and finished 17th in the single at Olympic Trials in 2016.
