October 15, 2016 is Steel City Rowing Club’s Annual Fall Harvest Brewfest Fundraiser, a competition for home brewers.
Your donation of goods or services for our raffle baskets or corporate sponsorship will help support the programs the Club offers to the community and the region at large, such as:
River Fun Camp: A need-based program for children ages 8 to 11 where children participate in experiential learning about our river and its banks, with a heavy emphasis on water safety.
Wildlife River Camp: Kids 8 to 11 to learn about local flora and fauna and receive an introduction to paddling and rowing with kayaks, canoes, and one-person sculling boats.
Free Intro to Rowing: A three-hour course in the sport of rowing open to all ages 12 and older. It includes a tour of the facility, learning the motion of the stroke on our indoor rowing machines (ergometers), and getting out on the water in our boats.
Junior and Master Rowing Programs: These programs provide high-quality coaching for adults and children. Participants can attend flexible practice schedules to row recreationally or competitively at local, national, or international events.
Sponsorship status is attributed to gifts or goods that meet or exceed the minimum sponsorship level of $250. Sponsorships or donations will be recognized on the Brewfest page of the Steel City Rowing website.
