To row at Steel City Rowing Club, you must complete the online registration process.

Step 1. ROSTER - FOR NEW ROWERS ONLY (Submit your contact information, waivers, and forms).
To participate in any rowing program at Steel City, you must be rostered as an SCRC rower.  Students who participated in previous seasons are already rostered and can proceed to Step 2 to register for the season and for races.  All others must complete the online and paper forms in this step.  Complete the rostering process first. Then register for the season and races.

 

Step 2. REGISTER FOR THE 2017 SPRING SEASON

SPRING SEASON DATES:
March 4: Optional, Free Introduction for Prospective New Rowers, 11am-1pm
March 13: First Day of Spring Season, 4-6pm
March 14: Safety Day, 4-6pm
March 14: Athlete/Parent Meeting, 6pm
March 18 - 25: Spring Training Camp in South Carolina, Optional (register separately)
May 27: Last Day of Season, Interclub Scrimmage, Senior Recognition/End of Year Banquet                                                                                                                              

Four rowing programs are available - Levels 1 through 4.  Descriptions of each program are given in the link below.  To register for the season, decide which program you want, enter your name and click on the appropriate level.  The program fee for the season, if required for your school, can be paid online at time of registration or by check (either mailed or turned in to the office). Online payments have a convenience fee added.  Deadline for registration is  Thursday, March 9.   A $50 late fee will be applied if registration is not completed by the first day of practice.  Athletes in need of financial assistance who believe they may be eligible for scholarships should contact their school's athletic director or Danielle at Steel City.



Step 3. REGISTER FOR RACES.
Below are the races Steel City will be attending this Spring Season.  Registration is due by Wednesday, April 5th.  Payment for all races is due at the time of registration. You can click below to pay online (includes a service fee) or deliver a check to the office. Athletes in need of financial assistance who believe they may be eligible for scholarships should contact their school's athletic director or Danielle at Steel City.

May 20-21: Midwest Junior Rowing Championship - Bethel, OH ($375)
May 27: Interclub Scrimmage, Home ($40)
June 9-11: USRowing Youth National Championships, Sarasota FL (TBD)
